Primary Side Effects

Severe Symptoms

Special visual abnormalities may occur: such as a blue filter sensation, difficulty distinguishing blue-green colors, and other abnormal visual phenomena.
In most cases, these are transient and not a cause for concern. However, if significant vision loss occurs, be alert to the risk of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION).
If sudden vision loss or vision impairment occurs, consult an ophthalmologist immediately.
If painful erection persists for more than 4 hours, priapism (abnormal erection) may be present.
If erection lasts more than 4 hours without relief, seek medical attention immediately.

※What is Non-Arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION)?
It is a condition where blood supply to the optic nerve is interrupted, causing dysfunction or necrosis of optic nerve cells.
This state is known as ischemic optic neuropathy.
Although the causal relationship is not yet clear, studies have found a slight correlation with ED treatment medications.

※What is Priapism (Abnormal Erection)?
It refers to a condition where the penis remains erect and cannot subside or is difficult to subside.
Also known as penile rigidity.
The primary cause is dysfunction of the penile arterial system.

・CYP3A4 inhibitors/inducers
Ritonavir, Saquinavir, Darunavir

・Antihypertensive drugs
Cialis itself has blood pressure-lowering effects. Concurrent use may cause temporary dizziness or vertigo due to hypotension.
